PATINACK SALE DEBUT DECLARED A SUCCESS
Patinack Farm's sale debut during the second session of the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale on the Gold Coast was declared a resounding success.
With three of the top four prices for the session, the first ever draft of horses offered by the team from Patinack at public auction was exceptionally well received from buyers. All up the draft of 20 weanlings from Patinack Farm grossed $954,000 - to post a healthy average price of $47,700. All 20 youngsters offered were sold.

 PATINACK FARM'S SUPER SEASON ROLLS ON
Linky Dink is the latest two-year-old to continue Patinack Farm’s dream racing season after her upset win in the Group 1 TJ Smith Plate at Eagle Farm. Patinack Farm’s juveniles have been winning all over Australia in 2009, especially at 1600 metres with Onemorenomore and now Linky Dink winning Group 1 races over the distance.
Jockey Peter Robl always had the filly positioned on the hind quarters of the leader Spot On Target before the filly ran home over the top of him to record a two-length win.
“We looked at the race and knew there would be no speed so we decided to ride her closer than we did in the Sires Produce,” Robl said. “She actually went better than we thought she would. We would have been over the moon if she had have run a good fourth or fifth.”
Winning trainer Jason Coyle was quick to praise Robl’s ride, adding Linky Dink had improved rapidly since arriving at Patinack Farm’s Gold Coast stables. “It’s just outstanding to win this,” Coyle said. “Pete rode her great and she’s done really well since she got up here.”
Robl said he had no doubt Linky Dink could win an Oaks during her three-year-old season but said the AJC Oaks would be more likely than a VRC Oaks win.

PATINACK FARM'S WINNING STREAK CONTINUES
Talented filly Morning Swim continued the recent winning run of 2 year old’s for Patinack Farm when she hit the line at Sandown on Wednesday 10th June.
Morning Swim, trained by Mick Price showed ability with a recent barrier trial win and won effortlessly in the very heavy conditions to take out the 1200m event for 2yo fillies by more than a length.
A $60,000 purchase at the 2008 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, she is the fifth foal from stakes-placed mare So Explicit (NZ). The win of Morning Swim follows hot on the heels of a winning streak for Patinack Farm two year-olds on Monday when Porsched, the big strong grey colt sat outside the leader and galloped away at the top of the straight for at four and a half length victory at his first start. An annual pool of $1,000,000 will be distributed 50/50 to both the breeder and the owner/s of every metropolitan race winner (2YO & 3YO races only - not including group races) sired by a Patinack stallion*. The break-up will be:
